Characteristics
The 18-hole-course (par 71) was designed by José Canales and spreads over 56 ha, half of which- courses, greens and tees- are artificially irrigated. On the other, unirrigated half the natural vegetation of the environment was preserved and raised with indigenous species. Especially noteable are the elevated tee-offs, surrounded by volcanic rock, and its widespread, generously arranged greens.

Unfortunately, the greens aren't in top condition. And nobody likes bending over to do that!
But otherwise, it's simply 18 different golf holes. You can easily walk them. All in all, a fantastic golf course with friendly staff. The restaurant (I was told by someone staying at the hotel) isn't supposed to be very good. But there are plenty of pubs next door in the building complex. You played this beautiful course three times with great enthusiasm.

At this time of year, many places in the south are affected by the summer heat. Not so Valle del Este. Tees, fairways, greens - everything in wonderful condition.
The design is exciting and varied. Probably twice as challenging in strong winds. We were lucky and only got a taste of it on the last three holes…
Staff friendly, price attractive - and we had the place all to ourselves. So we got through on foot with a trolley in 3:30. But the walking distance should not be underestimated!
When you see a few urban canyons you just have to look away. It would be a shame not to play here because of that. And: The place is wonderfully close to the A-7, but it doesn't bother you at all.
