Very well maintained course. The greens are challenging in layout and very fast. Wide fairways are made interesting by the many trees and doglegs and require some tactics. Very well maintained bunkers also enable fair play.
The restaurant offers an excellent lunch on a beautiful terrace.

We found the course to be very fair. The fairways were well maintained and the greens very fast, like on all the courses we have played in Sweden so far. No spectacular courses, but interestingly designed. The lunch buffet and the friendliness of the staff deserve a positive mention. We were here with a camper and had a nice pitch with electricity.

Vadstena is worth the trip

Vadstena is - not only because of the golf course - worth a visit. The city is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with romantic little wooden houses, inviting cafes and regular meals in different restaurants. The abbey church, the cloister hotel and the pretty lakeside monastery café should plan to, maybe after the round.
The course itself plays out agreeable. No effort, just beautiful and clearly laid out. Water only comes into play from time to time, at hole 7 as an island green. Some fairways were relatively narrow and require just accurate tee shots. But here you can certainly improve your handicap!
The golf pro has a good hand, the practice facilities are good and the Clubhouse very simple and cozy, just typical Swedish.
