Characteristics
Located just 45 kilometers south of Paris in the Fontainebleau region, this estate covers 55 hectares of magnificent parkland anchored by a 14th-century chateau. Opened in 1990 and designed by Marc Adam and Patrick Fromanger, the 18-hole course follows the American tradition, offering diverse perspectives and strategic options on every hole. Having hosted the Women's World Championships, the Par 72 layout provides a fair test for all levels. The experience is completed by the "L’Emeraude" restaurant within the clubhouse, offering a peaceful atmosphere.

U golf in the highway

The course is right next to the freeway, so the traffic noise affects the game. The called green fee is sensitive high (105 €). Unfortunately, the offered value for money is in no way appropriate to the green fee.
Only the friendly welcome and the very fast greens are worth mentioning. A negative aspect was an aerated practice green, which was disproportionate to the greens on the course. Some of the existing ball washers had no water and no towels. Since the place was extremely full, the fairways were mostly shot up, as were the tees. The tracks themselves are close together. Without the high green fee, the layout would be described as mediocre. Just like the maintenance condition. At the end of the round it was annoying that you could take a shower but there were no towels. All in all, this place is not recommended.
