Excellent golf course

I played here twice in mid July 2016. Overall the course was in good condition. Greens were very good. Receptive and rolled true. The couse has a good layout with some very good holes. The Par 3's are challenging. Only complaint would be the sand in the bunkers is overly coarse. In fact in some bunkers its small stones... and large stones. This could easily be fixed.
Nice clubhouse, great staff, and very good practice facilities. 2euro a bucket on the grass range.. no mucking around with tokens here.
Great views of the countryside from lots of places on the course.

Basically not a really nice place. Good weather, but there's no joy. Not a nice layout, a little unkempt, wild boars apparently cause a lot of mischief at night. A little hilly, strenuous without a cart. Showers are a little old.
We definitely won't be coming back.

The location away from the coast would be quite ok with views of the Pyrenees. If it weren't for the road, which is actually off the beaten track, but still quite constantly driven on with roaring engines. That even bothered me (I'm not otherwise sensitive to noise) on four to five holes.
Located in the countryside, the atmosphere at today's game on Christmas Day was very friendly at the beginning. Beautiful weather and no people at 10:30. We were lucky - later the place apparently filled up quite well. Unfortunately (mostly) with players who would probably have chosen a different hobby. Etiquette, what is it? The trolleys are happily rolled over the tees or even over unfamiliar greens to take shortcuts to the next tee.
The place itself was in good shape at first glance. When playing, however, the many bumps/holes in the fairways, the differently sanded bunkers and the greens that were fast but not on track and certainly not snappy got in the way of the golfing pleasure.
There are also more exciting courses in the area in terms of design - Peralada and of course PGA Catalunya. Details have been aptly described by previous reviewers.
The course is almost completely flat and easy to walk on. You don't even need an e-trolley. The hard surface allows for great distances on well-hit balls - and searching under the trees and bushes on less great shots. Apart from the few water hazards, you only lose the ball once in the dense and covering semi-rough.
The lady in the secretariat was quite friendly, even if you could tell that she wasn't very pleased about having to hold the fort so early on Christmas Day.
In addition to all my critical remarks, I also have something very positive. The website of the golf club is absolutely great for me. You can find all the information you need quickly and up-to-date (including scorecard, handicap table and description of the holes). Bravo!

Top course with fast greens

April 22 lightning fast greens and good condition. Not too crowded, varied with a nice, inexpensive clubhouse, good menu. All in all, the place is definitely worth it. Can be walked.

Poor maintenance condition

Played there for the first time on October 5th, 21st. The place was in a bad condition. Lots of bare spots on the fairways, many spots were repaired as the ground (probably plowed through by wild boars). Some bunkers not cleaned at all, some full of water and still others you didn't know whether it was a bunker, wastearea or a potato field. Since some trains are right on a main road, it is quite noisy there. On the back nine it is quieter, boring, as it always goes back and forth. The views of the mountains therefore make little difference. There are better places nearby.

For about 15 years we play in June / July and September / October of this beautiful plant, which is only about 15 minutes from the town of Figueras, Dali. The course is mostly flat with wide fairways, well maintained and has some challenging water hazards. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the very likeable per Stevens. The green fee is the so-called "Dias de senior" (last Montaq / Thursday) - similar to other clubs in the area - somewhat reduced.
