Make way, make way, make way!

If you approach the (almost) failed resort from Tangier, just before Rabat, you often think you are on the wrong route.
Many new roads in the new upscale urbanization end at Boller. When you finally get to the golf course, there are a few hard-working men on site, the "dead clubhouse", which has Montgomerie Rabat written on it.
There is no food, you had to get the water from the supermarket, because I think that guests (almost) don't come anymore! The buggies were running, but they were pretty worn out. As a German traveler to Italy/Spain, you only expect the very, very worst! The club/resort is finished! So off to tee 1! What follows is a really cool, open Monty Designer course in the best inland style! Large and expansive bunkers that are really cleanly cut and maintained. The fairway is typically "links-like", neatly mown short (a few non-disturbing foreign grasses)! The fairways are very wide, wide and densely bunkered with "rusty-colored Moroccan sand"! The greens were very well maintained, speed grade 2-, the design and the course layout get a 1-2 from me, the overall maintenance 2-3 (which is sensational considering everything else around it)! The most important thing at the end:
1. You can book the green fee very, very cheaply via an online portal!
2. The course is laid out strangely due to the lack of land, 1-9 are normal, then there is a very long way to the 10th and an extremely long way to the 11th! The 16th & 18th are two par 3s squeezed in because the remaining area was missing!
3. BUGGY is a must!
Unless you see the whole thing as a school trip combined with a hiking day through disused former development areas!
I estimate it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from 9 to 10 and 15-30 minutes from 10 to 11, depending on fitness and temperature!
Conclusion: we did not regret our opening course of the Rabat trip, the course was great and is nice to play, Driver Course!

Had potential

Played here in October. Still the land issue preventing the holes on the back nine from being as good as the front nine. So you drive the cart 10 minutes through the area to get to the 11 hole. Greens were good, fairways mostly overgrown with millet, tees also not particularly well maintained. Restaurant was closed. Definitely take a cart.

Super Site

In the beginning of March we played 2 wonderful rounds of golf in the sunshine but cool and partly windy, with caddy and ecart. The fairways and greens super maintained, between 10 and 11 is a longer drive through terrain and the clubhouse is to be admired as architecturally very interesting model. The care by the staff is very nice. There is a big golfcity there. The place is highly recommended, also quite challenge g, many bunkers and plenty of water, the wind from the sea can be violent.
