Arizona Grand Resort - great marketing with a bitter aftertaste

01/2024 We pay the green fees at the golf shop and want to go. The starter explains to us that the tee times have been pushed back slightly due to frost - understandable. But... waiting 2 hours without notice is a bitter pill to swallow.
The driving range turns out to be a net with 3 tees, the sloping putting green with its 3 holes is overcrowded.
In the Golf Shop's internal Starbuck we enjoy coffee and sweets to pass the time.
The course itself has interesting holes. On the 2nd tee box, the recommended lay up is to the left of the water. The shot is successful and disappears from view. Walking down the fairway to the green, a construction area that is not visible from the tee appears. Ball gone - sorry!
The greens look like perforated corrugated iron after a hailstorm.
The course winds between the resort houses and is accompanied by a busy highway on the par 5.
The pace of play is terrible even though marshals are present. At hole 12 everyone is asked via cart screen to go back immediately.
As the sun sets slowly, we reach the clubhouse at 5:40 p.m., quite annoyed. The overpriced restaurant offers delicious food. The bitter taste in terms of value for money for golf and food remains.
Hardware partly okay (hence 2 stars), software to run away from - not recommended.
