We almost didn't play this course based on the reviews here, but a friendly recommendation led us to do so. Especially during the peak summer of 2026, the course was in exceptionally good condition. The greens were perfect, and the fairways were top-notch. Yes, the course did meander a bit, but there were clear signs on all the holes indicating what to watch out for. The clubhouse had a great atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended!

We played the course at the end of October 2024. Compared to other courses in Cornwall, it was extremely wet and muddy, and the tee boxes hardly had any grass left. The course cannot be blamed for the weather conditions, but other courses are in much better condition. What was particularly noticeable were the fairways running across one another, tee shots over the greens of previous courses, just criss-crossing.
The cut height of the fairways was too high, so you found balls coming off the fairway. All in all, a below average US playing experience.
