A hidden gem against a grand panorama

We played the course designed by Severiano Ballesteros today (mid-May). The welcome was very friendly, and after a bit of searching, they were able to provide us each with a bag of loaner clubs. The holes are consistently interesting and challenging. In some places, you have to think very carefully about your strategy, as you should stay on the fairway. The rough can be quite unpleasant in places. In mid-May, the temperature was still very pleasant, and the course wasn't at all overheated. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The view of the Gredos mountain range is beautiful. All in all, we had a wonderful day of golf on a challenging and interesting course, which we practically had to ourselves today.
