If you are not put off by the proximity to the M3 and M27 (or by the somewhat confusing approach), a great course awaits you: great, challenging layout, no hole is even remotely like the other, top greens and (who would ever have thought that would be important in England) irrigated fairways! The members of the venerable old club (founded in 1908) must be congratulated on their foresight. In the summer of 2022, which is far too hot and dry again, the place is worth every journey, no matter how far.
If it weren't for the proximity to the motorway, it would certainly be higher up in the top 100 in England.
