Characteristics
Located on the scenic Trones peninsula at the inner end of the Trondheimsfjord, Stiklestad Golfklubb offers a memorable golfing experience in a historic setting. Established in 1991 and expanded to a full 18-hole layout in 2006, the Par 71 course winds through beautiful natural surroundings with stunning water views. The club is renowned for its excellent course conditions and exceptionally high guest satisfaction. The welcoming atmosphere extends to the clubhouse, where players can enjoy local food and relax after a round in the tranquil Verdal landscape.

Our second round in Norway. I was looking forward to this course, since I love courses with trees and up and down fairways. Training areas are with enough space, close to clubhouse. Clubhouse offers showers and small pro-shop. Once again we were allowed to play with kid in stroller there. That is great fairways are far from each other co no worries that our small Tiger will disturb anyone, despite that course was not busy during our visit. Great idea that I took birdie book, because there is many blind shots. As season started probably few weeks ago, course is in decent condition. On front nine you will for sure love hole number 2. Par 3 there are really nice. The whole course design is really nice very challenging shots needed to score well. Second nine has nice views of fjord bay. This course should be must in Norway. Green fee was very affordable. Greens and fairways are in great condition.
