High class design, low maintanance

I was playing here 3 times in the last 4 days. The design is as GARY PLAYER makes it, I would like THRACCIAN CLIFFS a little bit more, but as a desert golf course this is more spectacular. Hole no. 5 is called PEBBLE BEACH and is just a little bit difficult to play in wind of 30 km/h and tournament conditions.
There is another PAR 3 very interesting... hole no. 15, with a deep ravine and sea behind the green. Both of these holes have drop area zone.
Waiste area is huge, all over the course but playable. Therefore hole no. 13, called DILEMA-DILEMA is not so difficult, even you are not on fairways (is a hole with 2 fairways) .
The distance is around 6.4 km from the yellow tees , C.R. is 72,2 and S.I. is 135.

Perfect fairways, beautiful but playable rough, a condition that the other two courses in Hurghada do not have to offer and the whole thing is characterized by the incredible views of the sea and mountains. Kudos to the architect and the team for making the course such a great experience for every golfer. Long journeys are the order of the day, a challenge for the athlete who runs and doesn't drive. You can enjoy and absorb the space better as you go. The current construction sites around the square limit the enjoyment somewhat and we can only hope that not everything will be built up after completion and that you can still enjoy the beautiful views. One thing is certain: there will be a lot of concrete around the place, which is a shame. But we will still come back. The game is an experience.

My husband and I played this course on our birthday together. It was very nice that we got a green fee as a gift, thanks again for the friendly service. The price for the green fee, rental clubs (with signs of wear, but perfectly okay!) And cart was quite decent for the great place. The cart was equipped with a cool box with two water bottles and a ball washer. Since the individual holes are sometimes far apart, a cart is recommended. The tracks are very well maintained, the place is in great condition. There wasn't much going on when we were there, so we took our time and also enjoyed a lot of the varied landscape. Some holes lead directly through the desert, some require a precise game on the greens located directly on/above the sea. The only drawback is the constant wind, which not only influences the game, but can also be dangerous for one or the other as a "draft" for the neck etc... Our tips: bring a towel or a windbreaker and definitely still take something to drink with you on the round, the two 0.5 liter bottles of water would not have been enough for the first nine holes (we had an extra liter with us and took two more liters of drinks with us for the "back nine". ...).

Beautiful place, very, very friendly and courteous staff, great condition of the whole area.
We played as a group of 8 (handicap 0 to PR) 5 times in total in January 2020 and luckily we only had 1 really drastic wind. The traveling Marshall asked us that day if we shouldn't cancel after hole 9 and continue our round on a less windy day. The processing of this offer, which was unexpected for us, worked absolutely uncomplicated, like everything else (start earlier, credit for trolleys already paid for on a car, etc.). To be fair, one has to say that the game is very impaired on such windy days and there are more pleasant things than golfing under such conditions. The light wind that is otherwise present on every day is warm and does not disturb play or well-being.
We did not find the construction work disturbing and (despite a precise search) could not see any garbage within sight of the golf course.
A provisional driving range (more than amusement, because it can be seen as a real exercise opportunity) was also provided.
