Golf and palm trees, all in one place

The golf course at the Shangrila Golf Resort boasts a truly magnificent location. All the fairways are lined with beautifully manicured palm trees. The fairways are sometimes narrow, but fair. The greens are average, a bit slow, but very well maintained. The best part is that you can enjoy the services of a caddy. You feel like a golf pro, enjoying a wonderful time on beautiful fairways through a sensational palm landscape. You'll pass numerous water hazards and obstacles. You might even spot some wildlife: iguanas, crocodiles, and perhaps even a snake. Monkeys are a unique sight, often seen along the fairways. It's an indescribably wonderful feeling.

This golf course is nestled within the hotel grounds. Plenty of water, well-maintained fairways, and fast greens are particularly noteworthy. The caddies are very friendly and accommodating. The clubhouse overlooks the 18th hole. The staff here is also very friendly, and those staying at the hotel can enjoy a wonderful dinner.

Beautiful course with a stream and water that comes into play on several fairways.
Course and greens are in good shape, the discounts so-so.
Caddying is mandatory (LKR 4,000.00 + tip) but is helpful to play on the correct lanes.
Great wildlife alongside the golf game (iguanas, peacocks and various waterfowl on the course and lagoon).
