Golf among wineyards

We have played the Serravalle Golf Club Course severel times and we have always enjoyed this beatiful course situated among the wineyards of Serravalle Scrivia. When clear weather you can see the alps in the background. Really breathtaking!

We played the nine holes, which are beautifully integrated into the landscape and offer a lot of variety. Unfortunately, the bunkers are no longer playable as there is either no sand or they are almost overgrown. The tees are all curved and the fairways have around 60% grass. The greens are not really greens, as dandelions and plantains have no place there, even when mown.
The lone greenkeeper who golfs here is fighting a losing battle to get the course under control.

The golf course has been reduced to the most beautiful 9 holes. The remaining 9 holes are a Pay&Play course which is also used as a football golf course! Seravalle GC is an ideal example of what you can do with a golf course before the investment fails completely!
