Wonderfully varied hilly course. Spaciously laid out, fantastic views. Challenging course that is really fun, needs length and tactics to play it well. In summer it can be a bit dry, like all the courses around it. Paths are a bit bumpy to drive on. Very friendly staff. Not very busy, you can do your rounds in peace. Very attractive border prices. Saturday morning 10am in July 2 people with buggy 115 euros or 85 for 2 with buggy in the afternoon at twilight.

I really can't understand the 5 star reviews. How do you rate the real super places? Some railways, e.g. 1,5,9, don't really have anything to do with golf. Played on the right side of the fairway, you look for the ball in the left rough. Then the steep paths with the slippery tires of the neglected buggies. Not to mention the unreadable tee boards.

The two of us with a buggy (highly recommended) paid €125. This is unrivaled at the crazy prices in the Algarve.
To say it straight away: I like difficult courses with elevation changes, hanging fairways etc. but here it was (wind 5-7) a bit too much.
The condition was lousy on the first 9 holes, some branches, bushes and other stuff were lying around on the fairways, but the greens were well maintained and moderately fast.
Some holes (especially the 9) have nothing to do with golf, but are more suitable for an adventure playground. Some, especially the back nine, are interesting and fun. I don't know exactly, but the spark didn't fly between us and we wouldn't come back.
I can understand a fourth star for others, but 5 star ratings here are completely absurd. What should Finca Cortesin or Vale de Lobo get?

We played this place on 12.07.2018. He was in great summer in a really great condition. It's a place with unbelievably great views, and it's actually going up and down all the time. There are only a few holes, where you will not find any side fairways. So who likes to play slopes is right here...
Anyway, I would play this place again immediately, rather not my wife. She found it too difficult with the continuous slopes, but visually beautiful as well.
The green fee was compared to other places in the Algarve way fair and the value for money is perfect.

I have already played all the top spots in the Algarve, but this very hilly 18 hole course in the back country is a really good golf course! Many narrow lanes and height differences are to be overcome.
