Beware of costs and grass conditions

Three of us were quoted $40/pp for 9 holes, including one cart. After 2 sets of clubs (hands down the WORST clubs) $25 each ($50), 2 carts ($20 for one), it ended up being $79USD per person. The guy was rude. We went out, still annoyed by the additional hidden costs, only to get out there to almost cow pasture-like conditions. Anyway, we made the best of it and had a decent time. You definitely barely get what you pay for in this case.

We were ripped off.

Online the price says 575 pesos for 18 holes. We were charged 900 per person for 9 holes. They refused to run our credit card because it was ‘American’. They made us pay cash. Our cart died after 6 holes so we ended up pushing it the last 3 holes. The slow cart prevented us from finishing our 9 holes before sundown. I asked for a refund on the cart and they laughed at me and told me no. As we were walking away they called us cheap. Really petty people working here who do not know how to take care of their customers. Very unfortunate experience. We’ve been coming to Manzanillo for 15 years and just now getting into golf but we won’t be returning here and I suggest you stay away also.

Love This Course

If you are vacationing in the area and want to spend a day golfing, I highly recommend this course. It is a flat course, but has enough water and sand traps to make accuracy a must. This club house and the people there make for a comfortable blue collar setting. Nothing fancy, but you will have a fun time. Plus green fees and cart rental are fairly priced.
