Course is excellent, players are not

We played this excellent parkland course n June 2021. Fabulous layout with interesting holes in good quality and very true greens. Would love to lay it again in better company as the course was full of retired (retarded?) players who had no idea of a normal pace of play, of etiquette and of friendly behaviour. We were blocked several times. Calling the office did not help much as these elderly groups still did not let us pass nor did they play faster.

Great Place

I played the 9-hole and 18-hole courses alone at the end of September 2023. Both averagely attractive places. Care condition 4.5 out of 5 points. The bunkers are, as always, the weak points. Also the tees. The holes on the 18-hole course certainly have their charms. The 6 and 16 go over the water, which requires a carry performance of 80/100 meters. €71 for 18 holes is fair. Proshop speaks good English. The greens are 4 out of 5 points. Not particularly stable, but not sandy either. There are a number of tracks where you just go back and forth. In addition to the water crossings, there are three/four other holes with little extras. Was on a flight with players from the area where par playing was the norm. In other words: the round was a lot of fun. I can especially recommend the 18-hole course.

Wonderful Sunday round

Plant in May 22 in a very neat condition. Good fairways and very good greens. Place is varied and can be played well. Especially feasible for higher HCP. Length is not the problem here, but the short game around the green has to fit. The staff very nice. Food also very good, as well as the sanitary area. GF on Sunday 85 € + 4 € for DR balls (.. and, as so often, they were very bad). Overall good 4 stars.

More shine than reality

Parkland course with a few highlights. The tracks are sometimes very close together. The fairways were okay, the greens a bit slow and sometimes with weeds (dandelions). The place cannot help the agonizingly slow flow of the game and the crowd of 16 people on the first tee. All of this seemed more like see and be seen and less ambitious in terms of golfing. However, the price is out of proportion to the quality offered. There are much better places in the area.

Wavy Country Place

The place is ambitious but fair. Even as the higher handicapper playing with a little strategy well. Condition was the beginning of April already remarkably well. Space is sometimes wavy but the paths are easy to calculate. Water is a loyal friend, a Lakeland pleased not only golfers but also the fishing enthusiasts. Some tracks water is to play twice over the lake and twice over ditches. From Saint Malo is easily accessible in less than half an hour. A three-star hotel is directly on the square. I travel alone. Restaurant and bar on the first floor overlooking the 18 Whoever loves something most niger Tip: Hotel Le Nouveau Monde 4 * in Saint Malo close to the sea and only a few footsteps to the Old Town. Star suspect kitchen. Design Hotel. Great bar. Good with many places of Brittany combined.

Beautiful parkland course

I have played the course in June 2014 several times. Greens and tees were maintained, the fairways were suffering under the very last few weeks prevailing drought. The course is characterized by wide fairways and sometimes difficult to play greens out, the greens were fast but true, from the white tees are some reductions quite a challenge. The neighboring 9 hole course (Old Course) is certainly not a pitch and putt course, but a full-fledged golf course. The course is recommended for a short round in the afternoon when the family program is completed.
