Sabie River Sun Golf Course

Played Golf here 2 years ago and was very happy, played this week again and we paid R470 as affiliated visitors which I found excess based on the condition of the Course. Most of the greens are in a bad state. No marshall on duty, will not encourage my friends to make a trip to the course. Was definitely not value for what we paid.

Jewel in the Lowveld

A most challenging and beautiful laid out course that stands up to the best in the Country!! Fantastic scenery and enough water, trees and bunkers to keep a hacker really busy.

Fairways in a very good shape and so also the greens. Nice pathways to walk and drive with a golf cart between holes. Staff is just great.

A must for any golfer visiting the Lowveld (and an added bonus the Park is 20 minutes drive away - Phambeni gate)

Nice layout but poorly kept and maintained

You can go here for the scenery but definitely not to play golf. The greens were redone a couple of years ago but since then and even now the condition is the worst I have ever seen anywhere in the world. This is so surprising that one would not have expected this from a major five star hotel like the Sun. You cannot refer to these as greens it is full of patches and bumpy and the overall course is very poorly maintained. The hotel spent a lot of money in building cart paths, landscaping etc but they have left the course in the dumps. Go there for something else but not to play golf as you will be very disappointed just like we were.
