Designed by Jonathan Morrow and Al Tikkanen and like Red Mountain, their other high-profile Phuket golf course, Riverdale Golf Club is destined to become one of the most celebrated Bangkok golf courses. Riverdale may not at first glance look the most menacing test of golf you've seen. However, the golfer is in for a surprise.
The landscape includes several large lakes which were dredged to create the hills that surround the golf course and frame most of the holes. Beyond the perimeter though there's not much to look as it is predominantly comprised of factories and small villages. But once you've fired your opening tee-shot at the gently sloping downhill opener, the challenges and considerable charm of these immaculately groomed links will quickly assert themselves.

Had booked a green fee via Pacific Links. Minimum 3-flight possible. Receipt undercooled due to lack of knowledge about the store as it seems to me. Confused the forwarding to e-card and caddies. The place is very well maintained with a few crisp tasks. The greens are pretty fast. Of the three caddies, only one was helpful. They did not find balls. They were friendly and we had fun with them. The course has some long par 4s and tricky par 3. good bunkers and water in the right places. Amazing hilly for Bangkok. Club terrace with beautiful views and good food. Good to reach in the north of the city. Overall, we were satisfied. Risk of repetition - could be. Actually, I only wanted to give three stars. Four because of the really impressive space quality.
