Situated in the heart of La Rioja, just a short drive from Logroño, Rioja Alta Golf Club offers a serene golfing experience enveloped by ancient oak forests and vineyards. This 18-hole, Par 72 course is renowned for its versatile layout that winds through a rolling landscape free from urban noise. The design tests golfers with a technical start, followed by forgiving fairways, before concluding with a challenging finish featuring strategic water hazards and a demanding "Amen Corner." Beyond the main course, the club features a rated Pitch & Putt circuit and excellent practice facilities. The clubhouse completes the visit with a restaurant serving traditional regional cuisine, allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular views of the Riojan countryside.

It's worth it

A very beautiful, varied, and well-maintained course. The greens are fast and true to line, the fairways are carpet-like, and the layout leaves little to be desired. The first seven holes are set in such a natural environment that you don't see any other fairways, or even suspect that others are there. The bunkers don't deserve the name, or rather, their contents have nothing to do with sand, more with concrete.
Played almost alone on July 1,2025. We would come back anytime, even though we had some bad luck with the staff in the office and restaurant.
