Alone on the golf course

Played second half October 2022.
Reception next to the Caddymaster near both the Oaks and Lakes tees. Toilets are also available here.
Both places in good condition, faster greens. There is at least 1 toilet on both courses, and 2 on Lakes. But very empty, no golfers. So perfect, reception very friendly, even in rainy weather.
The restaurant is not on site but a good 5-minute drive away, which is a shame. But overall very good value for money. We'd love to come back when the weather is nice.

I played this course on a sunny, warm day in late October and met almost no other golfers there. For both locals and tourists it is "unfortunately" too far from the hot spots in no man's land.
The condition was good, the green fee was very cheap, the design of the course shows that someone originally had bigger plans here than occasionally welcoming a guest who got lost from Lisbon. The fact that these grand plans have failed can be seen when approaching the maze of side streets where there is not a single house. Bad for the investor, good for the golfer, who can pursue his hobby here completely undisturbed by other players, construction noise or villas on the edge of the fairway.
The star deduction is there because the check-in is also very unfinished, the maintenance status could be significantly better and the so-called "Lakes" course (aka Ribagolfe I aka Blue Course) only has water on three lanes. That it got 4 stars after all, because of the pace of the game, the friendliness and the fact that Ribagolfe I (Lakes) on the Front Nine ran over a few hills and was therefore very interesting in terms of play even without water.

A beautiful place. Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to have to take a taxi driver who did not know my predecessor. It did not bother me that the clubhouse 1 kilometer from the tee 1 or from the caddymaster was, as I had a rental car. I did not have to order a too expensive taxi for the return trip. That's why I can only rate the place. Beautiful, idyllic location, unfortunately only an 85 played, as very demanding. CONCLUSION: Absolute insider tip, anytime again.
