I've known the course for about 10 years now and I stop by here at least once every holiday on the Andalusian Atlantic coast and I can only congratulate the team on making such a course available to golfers after almost two years without rain!

We were met by extremely friendly staff in a seemingly lavish huge building. On closer inspection, but then quickly became apparent that it has been several decades on the hump. We played the course pink and maybe because of the big name and the above-average green fee also expected a lot. These expectations were by no means fulfilled. The course leads without any highlight through the landscape, off the fairways is no care recognizable. The bunkers were also partly in a deplorable state of care - and this can not be attributed to the severe weather one week ago.
In top condition were only the greens and in addition also very fast - a compliment for it.
At green fee prices of 50 - 60 € I would not complain, the called game fees of well over 100 € is not worth this facility.

The positive anticipation: clubhouse, ambience and the friendly welcome from the club manager were outstanding. The pro shop was rather poor for a club of this level, and the yellow course we played a single disappointment. Greg Norman has come up with nothing better than to provide the course with over 110 partly huge bunkers. Not to make a spectacular fairway on 18 holes is already an art. Instead, the amateur golfer (Hcp 13) bothers from bunker to bunker. Also, the condition was at best average. Fairways and greens were ok, but the rest of the place was very natural, to say hello. No comparison with the top places in Spain like Valderrama, San Roque, Alcanada or PGA Catalunya. Perhaps those in charge should have better commissioned their compatriot Severiano Ballesteros with the design, which has achieved an absolute masterpiece with Pont Royal en Provence.

We played the course in November 2018 and were absolutely thrilled.
With a total of 45 holes, the course offers variety on different 9-hole rounds, which can be put together in various combinations.
The secretariat was very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to play 36 of the 45 holes on two days, even though a European Ladys European Access Tour tournament was taking place at the same time.
The greens were naturally fast and demanding for such a place.
