Course has got whole lot worse over last 3 years

79£ for a course with he worst greens ever. If you don't want to putt play this course as greens unplayable. Nothing mentioned when you book and others asked for a discount/refund to no avail. Course is not worth 40 euro a round. Range balls not been washed in years. Holes not recut in months putting green really bad no holes cut or marker flags. Management need a total kick up the backside. Really disappointed

More than satisfied

The place was in very good condition. The greens are very well maintained. Greenkeepers who worked on the facility were extremely friendly and considerate. Noisy activities were stopped immediately if one came close.
I can neither confirm that ONLY there is still money to be made, nor that there were thieves on the pitch.
On the contrary: the Campoamor offers good value for money. Unfortunately the place is a bit far from our holiday destination, otherwise we would visit this place again at any time.

Not worth the green fee

I can only agree with my predecessor's comment.
I have also known the place for a good 20 years and it has certainly had better times.
It is also important to know that thieves lurk in the bushes on the golf course. Today a person crawled on the floor and sneaked up on our electric car while my wife and I were putting on the putting green. It was only at the end of the lap that we discovered that my wife's belt bag, which was lying under a jacket in the electric car, had been stolen. So be more than careful with important private bags.

It's a shame - it was once a well-kept golf course!

I have known this place since the late 80s and was more than disappointed with the condition of the place. I don't care about bare spots on the fairways or not very thick grass on the tees. This may well be the case in January. But the facility is not maintained. In this condition the course is not worth the green fee. It seems that this place is only used to make money!

The marshal and starter was very nice, the greens are easy to play. I've experienced this differently at other places here. Ball washers are missing.

I won't play this course anymore. It's a shame - it was once a nice or good facility.

Bad Condition

I played again yesterday with my wife in Campoamor. Unfortunately, we had to realize that the place has gotten worse and worse in recent years. In particular, the front greens and the greens themselves are in a desolate condition. Foreign grass has grown into the greens, making "normal" putting impossible. The ball is simply steered in other directions. Just awful.
The operator should invest in professional greenkeeping as soon as possible.

The value for money is just not right

My rating is not influenced by the weather, my score, or by (un)friendly fellow players.
First of all, recklessly we bought a package for 8 golfs on the first day, to play within 3 weeks. 55 per round instead of 72 for single bookings. We figured no problem staying at the resort for 4 weeks.
The golf course is very busy in March 22. Due to the fairways mostly hanging to one side, which are predominantly provided with bare spots, the ball cannot find a hold. it inevitably rolls off the fairway into the difficult (not) playable area. No sign of a densely overgrown fairway. In particular, in the immediate area in front of the greens, there was a lack of grass growth to pass the ball high over the bunker, for example. Depending on the time of year/temperature, the (non-reseeded) grass could already have grown. (Nearby in the square la marquesa this was so - nice and green!).
In addition, there is a concrete rainwater gutter on 3 fairways? of 3 meters wide crosses. Usually running diagonally to the fairway, it magically attracts the golf ball. Medium handycapers can also be found there. In the 3 weeks of play, the flag position on the greens was not changed once. The holes were correspondingly frayed. The greens, however, were very good, so 1 point. In all the rounds played, no greenkeepers were seen, and of course no rangers either.
Not exactly a cheap green fee, with very poor or no maintenance.

Great choice in the area

The course is with a lot of vegetation an excellent alternative to the desert fields of the Murcia area. The green fee is extremely convenient, I found the field in good maintenance conditions.

No Highlight

Played on 27.9.2019 but only the holes 1 to 9. The complex is located on the Costa Blanca near the village Orihuela Costa within the Campoamor Resort. First of all, the holes 10-18 were closed because of the conversion of the greens, which in our view was also necessary because the greens were in a very bad condition. The fairways also left something to be desired. Overall, the nine holes were not very interesting, at least I did not remember much. Nevertheless, the game mode was quite high, it is started in 8-minute intervals, it came to corresponding waiting times, due to very slow flights which apparently were higher HC and had little idea of etiquette. At least nobody asked us about the HC. To acclimatize the place is suitable, but not more. The green fee for 9 holes was reasonable with 27 €. At least on the first 9 holes a cart is not necessary. The lady in the ProShop was busy friendly. Start times can be booked online with a discount or sundowner rates via the homepage. There are currently much better facilities in the region.

Unfriendly

The place is in a top condition.
The start times are overbooked, no Marshall looks right.
Too bad a nice place but unfortunately the quality is not right.

Play only Villamartin or Ramlas.

A wonderful day

In the first impression an impressive facility. The clubhouse is connected to a hotel. Very well-stocked pro shop. The booking of tee times is recommended in any case. The playgroups were full, thus widening the space. 10-12 minutes between start times leaves a feeling of Belek ;-) arise. The place itself is a feast for the eyes. The topography of the place requires a good match tactics. Some tight fairways then require an exact match. Longhiter should rather draw a smaller timber and or iron from the bag here. Some fairways are not visible and the player in front of a not always use the bell for signaling. On this day, slowing down was announced, have therefore no stress -we were on holiday -. The price was 120 € for two players and trolly more than just ok. The second impression "perfect". A must of travel here and a bit of golfing want.

A place for everyone

Good to master at playing golf with difficulties, but also for HCP 30 and more.
Greatly improved location status compared to previous years.
Halfway house needs improvement. Restaurant with great views, and gourmet cuisine.
A well-stocked golf shop with demanding prices

Good to deal with

The course has many trees but also wide fairways. The condition was to play very well and very relaxed. A challenging but fair playing golf course, is for me one of my personal favorites.

Golf Holidays with friends

Great club house with beautiful views of the sea. An old place with big trees. Green and tee boxes could tolerate more care. Price performance is OK.

Beautiful area with room for improvement

We played the course in early March 2012, and were overall pleased with the facility (hotel and golf course).
However, the overall impression which clearly clouded the sometimes very thin fairways were: more water for the denser grass court would have done very well.
An ordinary pro shop with not quite so friendly staff were observed before the round and a very good restaurant for food and drinks after the round.
All in all, a goal that can be recommended.
