Characteristics
The Real Aero Club of Santiago de Compostela was founded in the early 1950s. It is one of the oldest golf clubs in Galicia. Located a mere 20 minutes away from Santiago de Compostela and well communicated with Labacolla international airport, it relocated and reopened its modern facilities in 2014. It is moderately difficult course, which sports an old stock of trees, the whole course demands a precise game.

A new golf course at a NEW PLACE!

Important: the club is not anymore next to the airport. they moved to a new place, 10 km NW of santiago and developed a new golf course.
New place: 42° 57' 01 "N; 8° 37' 54" E check the web site: http://aerosantiago. es the new course is in the final stages of construction. T-boxes, fast greens and sand bunkers are already in excellent condition. the fairways are OK, say 70% developed. the rough is in my opinion to 80% unplayable, they are still working on that. the course is slightly hilly with little trees but with many blind shots. if they finalize the work it will be nice to play and i would rate it then at 3,5*... maybe 2 years down the road, when the gras really has grown.
The build an amazing clubhouse, but i cant say anything about the food quality.
