Quinta do Peru is not an absolute top course in terms of design, but the holes (leading through a rather densely built resort) are a bit too much in style. The course is not easy, requires a good mix of length and precision and is fun for players of all levels. The fairways are mostly quite narrow from the back tees. The tee should also land at the right place, so you can continue to play easily, otherwise obstruct a protruding into the fairway trees the way forward. The greens are medium sized, guarded by large, shallow bunkers. There are exciting doglegs, such as hole 13, where from the sloping across the square moat of the blow lures across the trees on the green. Great is also hole 16, a par 3 with lots of water between tee and green. Overall, however, only a few holes remain in memory after a varied round.
