Old Timer

I grew up here playing golf at the nearby Minnewaska club where a jr. membership was $5/yr in the 50's. Peters guests played there until they opened this course in the 60's. Both were later expanded to the current 18 hole status.

Pezhekee can be somewhat rustic but was in good condition in 8/17. If you want a challenge, take on this bad boy from the tips. The fairways are generous but its fairways/forest so bring lots of balls. The second shot (or third if you don't hit a good drive) on 11 is as intimidating as the island 17th at TPC Sawgrass and other than the 10th, there are no rest holes on the back nine.
