Beautiful course with a great first 9 holes.

The Petite Suisse Country Club is located in Christnach, in the heart of Luxembourg's Müllerthal region, also known as "Little Switzerland" due to its diverse landscape. The surroundings, with their rocky outcrops and extensive forests, make even the drive to the campsite an experience. However, a GPS navigation system is highly recommended, as the signs for the campsite begin quite late.
The 18-hole course with par 70, which is approximately 5,030 meters long from the yellow tees and has a slope of 126, is located on the outskirts of the village opposite the sports field and has a sufficiently sized parking lot directly at the clubhouse.
The clubhouse itself is nicely furnished and provides a suitable setting for spending time before and after the round.
The practice facilities are also excellent. In addition to a spacious driving range with covered teeing areas, there are putting and pitching greens as well as a practice bunker. The additional 9-hole pitch and putt course is particularly nice, offering excellent opportunities to practice your short game.
Then it's time to head out on the course (you can also drive around the driving range to the first tee and park in another parking area there) – and the course is pleasingly varied. The first nine holes wind through a parkland course surrounded by woods. Here you play in a tranquil, natural setting where the old trees constantly frame the fairways and create interesting playing situations.
A particularly pleasant feature is that the course is largely flat. Those who enjoy playing on foot can easily complete the round without getting out of breath after just a few holes.
After the first nine holes, the character of the course changes significantly. On holes 10 to 18, the course becomes more open, and at the same time, water hazards come into greater play.
I preferred the first 9 holes due to their significantly more varied design, but that is of course just my personal impression.
The fairways and greens should of course always be viewed in the context of the respective season and the current course maintenance, which was really great during my visit.
My signature hole is the 2nd hole, a medium-length par 5 with 2 smaller right-hand bends and a slope in the middle of the fairway – I was really happy with my bogey 😉.

Reward factor: precise play
Blind Shots: few
