Although it is an "estate", the edge development is elegantly restrained. Anyway - a visually very appealing parkland course with many big, old trees, in which nevertheless some of the rear lanes remotely remind of old British (left) places (blind blows direction marker pile over a hill).
Very varied tracks - boredom is certainly not on. Strategically placed bunkers and some water hazards, which are actually "in the game", make the round interesting.
The rear nine (19-27) are a little hilly - a cart is still not necessarily needed.
The condition was not optimal (the fairways looked a bit "plucked"), but still quite good.
Altogether wonderfully calm - except for a true horde of birds, which make a hell of a noise at the water obstacle of the last tracks. But is more entertaining than annoying - as well as the many cute squirrels, the great about the place.
