Not what it promised

Unfortunately, I found it rather disappointing. Anyone expecting spectacular coastal golf right on the cliffs at a "Clifftop Course" will likely be somewhat disillusioned. The view is certainly beautiful, but it has surprisingly little to do with the actual course.
The course had visibly suffered from the drought during our visit, though I don't blame the club for that. The greens were okay, but rather slow for my taste.
I would like to give a special mention to the staff in the pro shop as well as the course marshal – they were all very friendly and helpful.
I found it somewhat unusual that the fee for the cart had to be paid in advance – not a big problem, but a bit inconvenient.
The real highlight, if you can call it that, came from the 10th hole onwards: A foursome was playing ahead of us, whose members had obviously already consumed quite a bit of alcohol. Consequently, the round became tedious and unpleasant. Apparently, we weren't the only ones who eventually had enough. We didn't finish the 18 holes.
Overall, this is a place from which I had expected significantly more, given its location and external presentation.

The club is elevated on a cliff coast. Very nice fairways. Well-maintained haircuts and greens. You play from the clubhouse first downhill towards the sea and then back to the clubhouse back. There is a small nice halfway house, which can be entered with golf shoes and possibly wet clothes. For the second 9 it goes on the other side of the small road back towards the sea and back. Great views of the cliff coast. Good to walk. Increased undulating greens in the left style, which are exciting to play. Very nice traditional clubhouse with terrace for pint after or more. 30 GBP Twilight green fee. You can not invest your money better
