Characteristics
The very well-tended golf course is situated in immediate vicinity to the town Duisburg in the area of the "Sechs-Seen-Platte", a recreational area that puts all doubters of the the Ruhr Valley right. The fairways run, influenced by the lush stock of trees, in tight courses through the park-like terrain. To avoid the trees that sometimes project into the fairways, you have to play a precise game.

The flat 9-hole Parlandplatz in Duisburg is an oasis in the city. You can feel the tradition and formally member orientation. The course is situated in absolute tranquility in a park-like fenced property. From time to time you can see behind the tall trees some skyscrapers in the city. The complex has an excellent maintenance condition and its very high-grown trees. The tracks are all pretty straight, but for relatively long. There are some well-placed bunkers. The distances are short, and the third green to fourth tee you go below the ninth green towards driving range (That could be better signposted). Guests can (in any case only with members of the WE) play at specific times during the week. However, it does play only 18 holes, or must at least pay for it (60, - €).
