Mullett Lake/ East Lake

One of the truly great nine hole courses in the United States. Subtle design very reminiscent of Atlanta's East Lake. Both Bendelow masterpieces. A true joy to play. Great Northern Michigan setting.

A diamond nestled in Northern Michigan

Mullett Lake Country Club is a fine test of golf. Overlooking the glistening waters of Mullett Lake, this 9-hole course is well-maintained--the fairways are lush and the greens run fast and true. Lake breezes make walking the course a delightful experience and your tee and approach shots are effected by water on five of the nine holes as errant shots are captured by ponds and a stream that runs into nearby Mullett Lake. The 3,300 yard course is protected by its length and by the abundance of well-placed spruce, pine, and cedar trees that line many of the fairways. Although nearby Boyne Highlands and Garland capture much of Northern Michigan's golf advertising, make an effort to visit Mullett Lake Country Club for a classic layout designed by Tom Bendelow in 1929.
