Characteristics
The Golfclub features three attractive golf courses only a 10-minute drive from Munich in the midst of the Dachau Moss. Surrounded by a population of old trees and numerous natural biotopes, the courses offers a true sportive challenge. The soft mossy ground does not affect the joints and thus provides for a pleasant round of golf. At the clubhouse, golfers can indulge in the culinary specialities of the renowned "Obermayr" cuisine.

At the end of May 2023, Eschenrieder Platz was in very good condition. The previous phase of bad weather did the Upper Bavarian pitches very well and filled all the ponds with plenty of water. 18 very different fairways, lush green fairways (only here and there with a little dandelions in between), greens that stay on track, easy-flowing sand in the bunkers, a few bodies of water and a beautiful stock of trees (and only one high-voltage pylon on #3) are waiting for more or to be hit less with impunity. The course is very flat and the soft paths are comfortable and easy on your feet. Before Pentecost there was surprisingly little going on on the lanes and apart from birdsong, leaves rustling, brook murmuring, frogs croaking and the occasional ball popping nothing could be heard. This gives the round something meditative. Sometimes everything goes well together. Golfing is fun here.

Eschenried is a beautiful golf course, which combines everything I expect from a golf course: a friendly, always uncomplicated reception, well maintained fairways and greens, varied holes, each of which has its own character and a total of beautiful grounds with a pleasant driving range in a spacious, very nice facility.
Pleasant: During the week there are no start times and you can at any time spontaneously show up and almost always immediately start playing. Something unpleasant: Who likes to play only nine holes, may do this only twice a year. I have never encountered this regulation before.
Otherwise: The first nine holes extend through lonely nature. Forests, fields and streams meet everywhere. The second nine are more like a big park. But here too there is a lot of water in the form of streams and lakes, a lot of old trees and beautiful nature experiences on every corner.
Definitely one of the nicest and most enjoyable golf courses I've ever played in Germany and especially around Munich. In addition, one is from the city center in 20 minutes on site.
