I played the course on November 24th, 2024, it was a disaster. With every shot, dirt splashed around. My shoes and trolley were filthy like I've never seen before in my 20 years of playing golf. There were lumps of dirt hanging from the ball - and that for €70.00. A disgrace to say the least - never again.

I have to confirm this again now after 5 years. The public golf course Eschenhof, which is part of Munich Golf Eschenried, is in top condition. The condition of the fairways, tee boxes and greens can really be put on a par with Eichenried or Wörthsee. Absolutely first class!!!

I like the Eschenhof golf course because it offers an interesting contrast to the other 3 courses at GC Eschenried and allows for an entertaining game. On May 31, the greens were finely sanded, but this did not detract from the roll. The two greens #11 and #16 still have remnants of. Snow mold stains, however, are on the mend. I was happy about my round of 82 with par 8 played in a pleasantly fast-playing flight. The rough may become a challenge here if the fairways are narrowly mown. Incidentally, all doglegs go "left", apart from the short par 4/hole 10, which can be played almost straight. Hole #5, a par 5, is the most challenging fairway. If the first 3 shots aren't placed ideally, you can hopefully still be happy about a double/bogey (or otherwise regret your disaster). For a pay & play course it is very well maintained.
