Overpriced for the money they charge.
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 15, 2017
This year I took golfing vacation in Bulgaria and was looking fwd to this course. Overall average nothing exciting. For the money they charge it is overpriced. For same value courses in Turkey are better. What I want point out. Not possible tu buy birdiecard, no maps of the holes at teeboxes!!! Nobody takes care of greens, marshall missing. Locker rooms are nice, 19th hole was good, food was great. Note sure coming back at the moment.

Real 5* Golf and Spa Resort

Great Ian Woosnam 18 hole course with great 5* Hotel and Spa. By the sea But it is 7 km to their nice private beach. Next to 2, more difficult Gary Player courses, the spectacular Thracian Cliffs and tough Blacksearama. Great location for family holiday and great service.

Definitely I will return.

Great Golf Course & The Best Accommodation
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 17, 2011
The golf course is just great very well maintained and very beautiful, also there are two other courses near by which are also perfect just 10 min away form each other. Defiantly the best accommodation offered in the region with 5* hotel.

Great Course

Nice place for all HCP
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 31, 2024
We have now played the Lighthouse Golf Course for three days and are very satisfied. We were lucky because the club championships are on the weekend and so the course was very well maintained. The course is really great for this time of year and the greens are still OK.
The course has two faces... with wind and without! Without wind, the course is actually simple and easy to play for all handicap players. When there is wind, however, the course becomes a monster ππ miserably long, the rough is incredibly high and the balls are difficult to find.
Ideal for warming up for the Thacrian Cliff ππ

Very nice place to play
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 27, 2022
Lighthouse is not nearly as spectacular as Thracian Cliffs or Black Sea Rama but it is a challenging touring site. A bit of a links course feeling due to the intermediate areas overgrown with tall grass, but with enough space for a stress-free game. Tees are all straight and big enough. Fairways great with enough variety. The greens are big, fast and exciting. Only the bunkers could use a little more maintenance.
Michael, a very nice and active Marshall from England, gave us a warm welcome, which unfortunately is not the case elsewhere.
The holiday facilities around the golf course are not really nice, but far enough away that they do not disturb the golf game.
The practice facilities are big enough and OK.
The clubhouse is unfortunately not so nice. I wouldn't stay here to eat after the round.
We, 8 golfers with HCP 7 -20, played two very nice rounds of golf and can recommend the place.

Perfect season preparation
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 14, 2019
Reading the reviews on this course I notice that the demands on a golf course are very different. I booked for the second time in April vacation at the Lighhouse Hotel with unlimited Golf Package at the Lighthouse Place, as well as a green fee on the Black Lake Rama (directly nebanan) as well as on the breathtaking Thracian Cliffs (15 minutes by car). I'm considering booking directly for next year. At first glance, the Lighthouse Square seems indeed simple, but the first impression is deceptive. While in Germany preferably Parkland places are to be found, it is in coastal areas often Linkcours (similar) places, which are characterized by barren landscapes, little to no trees, but thick roughs and deep bunkers. Any ball that does not reach the fairway will be a challenge at the knockout. I think the variety in the golf week by each a green fee on the Black Lake Rama and the Thracian Cliffs great, but I like for the Saisonvorbereitund the Lighthouse course also very good. But the best thing is the unlimited package and the very flexible assignment of start times. A star deduction is available for the rather slow greens...
I'll be back!!!

Optimal start to get warm :-)!
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 30, 2018
We landed early Friday morning and played the Ian Woosnam Course that day. It's an easy and nice place to play, but the first 6 holes are rather boring and could be the grass around the corner! Then you come to the sea and the snow-white whitewashed halfway pavilion with veranda 100m above the sea! The second 9 are then much more varied. To kick off and warm play ideal, very decent greens.
In Marbella, the selection certainly would not fall on this Vourse! But since only three seats are available, you should play all three! Lighthouse is definitely not that bad we described here in part!
only not

The disappointment of the region
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 20, 2018
Played in September 2017 as part of my Thracian Cliffs trip, I wanted to get to know the other two places in the region.
Already on the first tracks, the condition of fairways and greens was negative - no catastrophe, but much worse than on the other two places.
Otherwise, the fairways rather simple knit - I honestly no track is particularly remembered.
Also the - actually very nice - Hafway house is unfortunately placed very unhappy, you have neither view to the last green nor the next tea. So when you're full, just buy a drink "to go" quickly and on.
Definitely a place I do not have to play anymore.

Place for a relaxing round, well maintained and suitable for all HCP's!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 18, 2016
The place is nice to play. New apartments and houses lining the fairways more often. The condition of the greens and fairways was very good. It will continue to invest, toilets, etc. HalfWayHouse be built.
The bunker could be better.
Overall, a place for all HCP's.

Everything was fine...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 14, 2015
We (Hcp. 7 & 8) were for a short break in Bulgaria and have all 3 courses (Lighthouse, BlackSeaRama and Thracian Cliffs) played.
Now on Lighthouse Golf Course: We were shortly before the Bulgarian amateur championships here and loved the place much. We can use the pejorative reviews some golfers do not understand - or assess only members of top clubs? Many golfers in Germany might be glad to have such a club. Since we have played very different "meadows"
The entire place was great in shot, the staff (from the Secretariat to the green keepers in the square) very friendly and helpful and the food in the Clubhouse inexpensive and very tasty.
Certainly, there is a "wide ball Erwiese" and this is just not with the two other places comparable. Nevertheless, we would play the course at any time, because here you can at least focus on the game of golf, what a very difficult succeeds at Thracian Cliffs due to the breathtaking views ;-)

Can you play but must not
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 16, 2015
First, the following: course maintenance is absolutely ok, super fairways, excellent greens, which was more than we expected. Otherwise: Ball Erwiese whose fairways is cut to 1 cm, the "Rough" at 2 cm so that you can distinguish it straight to a scattering angle of 45 degrees allowed but almost always, the ball on to play. Many beginners here, the round takes a bit! Flat terrain, felt only straight paths, a dogleg is not recalled. The whole acts as opened yesterday,, actually visually boring. We ate here on Day 1 of our vacation recorded us, for this is the whole ok (and much more can drink as playing golf and beer or wine you make here do not). Fine cuisine performance in the clubhouse and the best cappuccino in the area, this cheaper than the surrounding area.

Aborted round

The bunkers were in poor condition. We were constantly disturbed by mowing vehicles. After 9, we have canceled. The place is very boring.

Interesting place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 16, 2012
The site has many interesting paths. I found particularly disturbing the many apartments that have been built along some holes. Play should the court in any case, even if he can not keep up with the other two golf courses in the area.

The lightest of the three places in the club at the Cape Kaliakra
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 5, 2011
The place is very professionally maintained and relatively flat links course with water hazards and character and some very good, fast greens. He is to play most easily compared to Black Sea Rama and Thracian Cliffs, but not as spectacular as its two neighbors. The club house is very tastefully decorated and there is a good pro shop. Green fee costs 65 β¬, a cart β¬ 30. Overpriced is the price of 2,50 β¬ for 20 range balls. Unfortunately, the place is very obstructed with apartments and row houses, almost all are still empty. The name "Lighthouse" is somewhat misleading, there is no lighthouse, only a shining huge hotel. But there are the hotel-beach about 10 km by car. For a golf package so in any case recommend "Thracian Cliffs".

Beautiful well-kept place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 29, 2011
This is a beautiful and well-kept place with no great show.
The place is somewhat overshadowed by the neighboring Highlights Blacksearama and Thracian Cliffs.
But he is nice to play and considerably simpler than the two-class neighbors.
Comes for all hcp's in question.
Great food in the club house
