I would give this course five stars, as it's fantastic. The greens are in great condition as are the fairways and bunkers. The reception staff are very friendly as are the caddy/course staff and the service is great. Each cart has two bottles of water an ice bucket and tees. There is also someone driving around selling cold drinks and snacks.
The golf course is a joy to play, some easier par 3 holes and some challenging par 4&5 holes with a mix of easier ones to give a feeling of being challenged and at the same time knowing that a par or birdie is possible in between even if it doesn't always work out that way.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is at the moment there is still so much work being done around the course, building new villas that the noise of the diggers/cranes/ work men is so off putting at times that it isn't quite the relaxed quiet round of golf I would like.
I would recommend for the time being playing on Sundays and picking a start time when there aren't too many groups in front so you don't have to wait as much and can play at your own pace.
All in all, we played here 5 times and thoroughly enjoyed the course if not the waiting and the back ground noise, and I would definitely come again and can imagine that it will be prefect when the the building work has been completed.

July 9,2013 The best course that we have played so far (La Finca, Las Ramblas and Las Colinas). Friendly and professional service in the caddie master and in the restaurant. We highly recommend this course for golfers at any level.

We played Las Colinas Golf & Country Club several times. For the first time in 2011 and thought that it was already very good. Every time we visit it is still improving. Where does this end?
It is a beautiful and quiet area where you are in nature, which is rare for a Spanish resort course. We really understand why the Q-school of the European tour chose this course twice already for its second stage.
The last visit we stayed in a villa and before that we rent an apartment. I really recommend the villas on the central hill with nice private gardens. If you are there reserve some extra time to do the Falconry excursion.
For sure we will go back in 2014. Together with El Valle and La Manga the best course of the region.
Superb fairways

We played in Las Collinas in Jan. 2012. The club house and facilities is modern and top notch. Driving range ball is included in green fees, you get a spot of driving range in the grass with balls prepared in pyramid. Very nice!
We have very much likes the golf course of Las collinas. The faiways and the parcour in general was in perfect condition despite the season with very dry and short fairways. Las collinas bring a fair challenge for all golfers.
The only negative comment i can make is regarding the long walk between the holes. We have walked 1.5X more than usual on golf course. Cart is recommanded.

Played here when the course first opened. Facilities fantasic and the course very challenging. Some fantastic holes with fast greens. Played the brabazon around the same time. This beats it hands down. Already booked to go back in january next year.

played here in feb this year what a great course going back there in may and we cant wait it is not for the average golfer but very enjoyable all the same a very tough test of golf but you have to take a buggy cause there are a few long walks in between some of the holes not to much water but long holes so it does not need water to make it challenging

I would like to give two different reviews here. The urbanization is certainly unique in this region. We rented an apartment. This was large, technically perfect and equipped with 3 bedrooms, living dining area and terrace garden. There is nothing to complain about or criticize here. Everything worked out for us.
The golf course is not easy to play in January. Wind, sometimes cold and fast greens don't necessarily make the game result easy. In addition, the greens are not my thing. Fast is fine, but the balls also have to come to a stop. That's often not the case here these days, a three-putt played quickly. Hole 1 right at the beginning is the first challenge, then hole 2 is uphill, but after that it's over. I walk between 11 and 12 km per lap here.
The DR is well equipped. The DR balls (titleist) are good. You can evaluate your shots via monitors - for those who like this technology. The short game area is about 200m from the DR and is also sufficiently large. A period of approx. 40 minutes of practice is sufficient. If you want to practice more, you have to pay for the time.
