On this course, golfers can fully enjoy the beauty of the mountain landscape of the Kurhessische Bergland.
Golfers of all levels encounter a large variety of holes with different challenges and subtle technical features. The landscape is framed by a green-leaved forest and features skillfully-arranged bunkers, small artificial ponds and biotopes, plain valleys, and slopes. The course is also the home of the GC Oberaula-Schloß Hausen e.V.

Worth a visit!

Played in September 2025.
Very friendly welcome at the counter.
The same thing happened in the clubhouse area and on the driving range, where it was very busy due to the Wednesday men's golf.
When we booked, we knew that it wouldn't be particularly fast, as the men's group was ahead of us.
But that didn't spoil the beautiful day of golf. First, the two long-time members who had started behind us played a few holes with us, and then, as they turned off, another guest came up to us alone.
About the course: For us "flatlanders" from B/BB, it's a challenge to always find the "right path" and choose the right club. But it's extra fun for both those with a handicap of 15 and 38.
The course was in very good condition – probably due to the club championships held previously. The greens were often tricky to play on. They had been aerated – as is often the case elsewhere after a championship. But that didn't detract from the fun!
Overall, a great day of golf at the Kurhessischer Golfclub Oberaula!
We weren't able to see the restoration, so we can't comment on it.
PS: With a priority pass, we paid €105 for two people with a go-kart (recommended if you don't have an electric trolley with you ;-)). Considering the wonderful experience, it's absolutely worth the price!

A beautiful and quiet golf course. The course is well maintained, with some uphill and downhill fairways. Often, beautiful views are offered.
The course is fair but requires strategic play. The reception was friendly, and the catering was good. Some of the signs indicating the next tee could be better placed. Hole 12 is currently being rebuilt and is only playable as a provisional par 3.

Despite the dry spring, the course was in excellent condition today. The greens were perfectly maintained. The fairways are like the topography – varied and challenging. Since I was staying at the Parkhotel Zum Stern (a 5-minute drive away; 20% discount on the GF), I was able to play a truly enjoyable round for €56. This was partly due to the fact that first one, then two, and then a third player from the club joined us for the final holes, and we played a wonderful foursome.
