my new favourite
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 3, 2013
have been playing here for three years in a row. this year it has certainly emerged as one of my favourites in thailand, not surprisingly since i turned in two rounds in the mid 80s! inspite of the rains the course was in immaculate shape, the greens were true, the putts kept rolling in, ah the perfect life.
this is a mature course, an old lady, slightly cranky and eccentric at times, but treats you kindly if you are gentle and patient with her. the kind of attitude one must have if you are to score well in thailand, on or off the course!
the locker room has been renovated since the last time i was here. full marks.

Great course, very well maintained and good to play. Greens are very fast and hard. Caddies speak little to no English.
Cost for 18 holes including caddy and rental set, approx. 160.- Chf
Place is about 30-40 minutes from the center and can be easily reached by taxi

Flat course with a lot of water, fast greens and lots of bunkers, difficult because of narrow holes, you can quickly lose your ball.
Beautiful plantings.
Good clubhouse.

Was for me a very nice round! Was particularly fond of the local nature. When you see before iguanas splashing in the pond. Talking about dabble -through all the water should be able to keep the ball fairly straight. In particular on the second web. Place very well maintained. Challenge was to communicate with the staff. Caddies speak virtually no English, the staff at the clubhouse also not as I had expected. Another benefit is quite easy to reach place and public transportation (Airport Link Station 'Hua Mak', from there in 10-15 minutes by taxi). On Tuesday and Thursday there are cheap green fee prices. See website: http: // www. krungthepkreetha. co.th/.
Four stars only because there are a total of just even better facilities like the Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin. Price - power on for me 5 stars.

Not easy, but beautiful and inexpensive

The course is a flat landscaped parkland course with some really challenging tracks, water comes into play on EVERY hole. One should sprinkle his punches not too much, otherwise you have little chance of getting a good score., Because it is most closely. Three of the four par 3 holes are island greens, the Fourth 200m long. The caddy of English ladies are not powerful, why, green fee players are rather rare here, a typical club for locals. The downside, however, is that the shape of the "blind" holes until very late and with a wow effect reveals itself as no panel on the trajectory points. I would play the course a second time, I would now save only by my knowledge of at least 10 beats. The clubhouse also sprayed the unrenovated charm of the early seventies, everything a little angeranzt, but the site can expect a better future in the east wing.
Nevertheless: Good and cheap
