Billy Maxwell bought this course in 1971 and his daughter is working to restore this course to its original state - what an honor for Donald Ross.

The first nine are completely flat and ring to play. We already had concerns about the rating, but the second nine still have it.

These have light terrain crossings and well placed water. We had to work hard to keep the score.

The course is very well maintained - sometimes a bit rustic as it is for old places. The greens are very good and we often hang out. They also grew rather small. In addition, they are often well defended with bunkers - very good bunkers - with high edges.

The members are very proud of their course - rightly so.

We had a lot of fun.
