Short and bizarre
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 18, 2019
A very short course which has been poorly designed. There are some long walks between green and next tee. The 17th is a very pretty par 3 to an island green. When you couple the shortness and poor design with sloppy maintenance and the bizarre ideas of what the owner thinks is a suitable test of golf then it's probably wise to give this place a miss.
Practice facilities are just about passable although there is no green to hit anything more than a 30 metre pitch to. There are two practice putting greens, both in reasonable condition. The driving range seems to discourage using the grass and the "target area" is virtually unsighted from the tee mats. The ball supply is not exactly generous for the €2 cost per bucket. It even costs €1 to use a hose to clean your trolley after a round.
The food in the restaurant is very average.
Reception staff are welcoming and efficient. There are many far better course in the area to play before you have to try to this one.

The location is actually in beautiful surroundings and easy to reach from Hamburg. But that's actually all that can be rated positively. Relatively indifferent, sometimes grossly unfriendly staff and a poorly maintained and designed facility with members who fit well into the "wild west", characterize the overall picture.
Sorry, dear ones, you have to change a few things if you want to be a decent golf club.

Wake up!
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 12, 2021
Matchday team cup and the secretariat is in sleep mode. Although some players needed their scorecards in a timely manner, the lady in the secretariat had no more peace and quiet and had to make coffee first, as she let us know through the closed door, before she even lifted a finger for the upcoming games. A little more professionalism on such a day would be appropriate, but not everyone is given.

Neglected
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 30, 2020
The place was unfortunately quite neglected. Partly rampant weeds on the fairways. At the edge there is also a half-decayed pigeon. There are good alternatives around Hamburg.

Nice, short place; not so nice teammates
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 1, 2018
On August 29, I played nine holes here and here's my summary:
Friendly welcome.
At the first tee-off at 17:30 o'clock we started. On the first track was still a four-flight on the green and so we waited, so far so good. Shortly after the tee on the third track, a flight of two ladies (No.1: shirt, trousers and bag in white and no. 2 pink trousers, black top and screaming orange bag) find themselves nagging. My request to the local staff to talk to the ladies was answered with the advice to let the jammers play through. I do not even see a bad behavior to reward.
The place was for the little rain in the last days or weeks in a surprisingly good condition. Unfortunately, many of the bunkers had footprints and the greens were strewn with pitch marks. This fits in with the already described poor behavior of the natives.

Well...
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 18, 2018
The place is not bad in itself, but somehow does not want to develop a real joy of playing. The tracks are cut quite narrow and it threatens a lot of off and water, so that the driver is not needed. In addition, the day I played the course was a lot of granules on the greens, which was very much on the putting (luck) but unfortunately not on the green fee. The overall average service had somehow forgotten to point out before the start of the round.

Great fun and joy
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 24, 2016
We were welcomed very warmly. Only had time for 9 holes and were the back nine play. Behind us no one has been started and we could enjoy our game to the fullest. The place was very well maintained and the greens looked as if none draufspielt: dry, flat and not even pitch marks were visible. No street noise, many domestic animals such as deer, rabbits, pheasants, etc. are met. Overall, a great round.
Then we were treated very nice in the restaurant. The food and drinks were good as was the price / performance ratio.
The entire area seemed very well maintained with its own distinct personality. We love coming back...

Nothing special, but ok
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 29, 2015
I come here today because this weekend was very difficult to find a place, which is home to no club championship.
Positive was the following:
- No start time required
- Fast players found
- Place in good maintenance state
- Very scenic
The only negative was that:
- Sometimes very long distances between the tracks
- Inattentive staff in the catering industry
- Towels you have to bring around 5 EUR deposit in Proshop!!!?!?
- Dirty locker room
- No hair dryer available
Another time I come not safe.

Too bad - waned.
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 15, 2014
After about a year we have once again played on Weidenhof and unfortunately had to realize that the quality of the course, although more or wenioger the same gebliben is (good), but the Freundlcihkeit but has fallen sharply at the front desk. and the green fee prices have gone up sharply.
After our round we wanted to eat in the restaurant or something to WWe then but thankfully refrained from because of the turn unfreundlcihen and inattentive Dame and the degree of contamination of tables and toilets.
Pity!

It's fun!

Inter Santer are asked to place the iron shots more accurate than long drives, but very interesting and great care. Greens could sometimes be a bit faster and be faithful trace. Atmosphere on the entire system is sporty, relaxed and the restaurant is worth a visit in any case also (!). Overall a great value for money.

Empfehlenswerter Golf Club

The Weidenhof is a modern and advanced golf club that is evolving from year to year more and more to the positive. Members and staff are friendly, just as one wants that. All the best.

Scary interesting place!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 19, 2012
When it's hard to believe, but every hole is another small meanness installed. Cross standing trees, water, an extreme dog-leg - really interesting!
