Characteristics
The 18-hole course of the GP Gerolsbach is situated at the edge of the Holledau. It spread over 80 ha and is embedded in the typical hops landscape. The course is characterised by the creative design with many water hazards, fairway and green bunkers as well as elevated greens. They are integrated into the area which consists of fields, forests, isolated farms, hills and low ground. The beautiful terrain also offers the golfer magnificent panoramic views.

Varied place with slopes

The layout of the course is varied. We like the place very much. Even the par 3 holes are exciting. However, it was surprising that it is so dry north of Munich.
As a result, the balls ran far. Incline positions, if any, are always to be played or rolled over on the upper side and since it worked so well for once, there was even a birdie on hole 2. Since the rough was also dry, you could also play well out of it. Rarely saved so many pars/boogies from emergencies.

Sometimes you have to be positive about it. The place can't do anything for the lack of rain. The greens were fast and green.
However, the operator can do something for the good 2:1 offer even on the weekend with Albrecht.
The restaurant terrace is ok, with great Kühbacher Weissbier and Kallstädter Saumagen Riesling (the better one from Kallstadt)

Wonderful, perfectly cared for place in a rural idyll with beautiful foresight and wonderful tranquility; very friendly handling (pro shop and members) and great gastro with attentive, uncomplicated staff and very good food.
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back very soon and with great pleasure.
The course is hilly, but not mountainous, in most places clearly visible (maximum of 3 blind strokes on 18 holes), very well signposted and easy to master on foot for everyone with a normal level of fitness.
