Characteristics
Near the Schilcher wine route has been established for more than 30 years around the Renaissance castle Frauenthal a golf course of a special kind. The golf course offers two totally different courses. The ambience of the 18 holes is charcterized by huge oaks, exotic tulip trees, a lot of biotopes and ponds. The front nine are situated in a park landscape with an even and open hole architecture, the back seven are a hilly forest course with natural park character. The fast greens and the high standard of maintenance make the course an unforgettable golf experience. For brave golfers a eagle chance beckons on hole 15! All our Golfcarts equipped with GPS

It's amazing how much difference there is between the first 9 and the second 9 holes. The first are flat and the second quite hilly, which makes this course great. I especially liked hole 11, a small island in front of the castle. The maintenance is very good. The restaurant has a very nice terrace, the food is excellent.

I've been coming to East Styria regularly for over 10 years to play golf and enjoy the atmosphere to the fullest.
