Nice to play here again after new takeover

Playing in Schärding again after several years, and in fantastic weather, was a fantastic experience. The club has had its share of turbulence, but after the new takeover, the course was in excellent condition. However, the slow and somewhat bumpy greens spoiled the 5th star rating.
Fairways and bunkers in good condition, rough low and playable. The course and layout have not changed, but small changes/improvements have improved the flow of play.
We'd love to come back to Schärding/Maad!

A beautiful, easy to reach place.
Nice welcome, great conditions, currently on Tuesday and Thursday green fee with schnitzel for EUR 59.00!! It was really delicious!
The course is in quite good condition, very dry due to the temperatures (Aug. 2024) and the greens are unfortunately dark in many places.
The 2.9 holes seem to have just been erected, there is a lot of sand on the ball...
Otherwise interesting and not that easy to play. The first 9 are laid out very differently.
The 2.9 holes, 7 PAR 4s in a row, could be a bit more interesting...
I liked the 'Celtic' explanation and affiliations of the trees on the individual tracks, a nice idea.
All in all a nice round with nice, good food!

The place and the facility are absolutely leading level.
The greens fast and very well maintained, sharp cuts on the hole. The bunkers perfect, also good edges and good sand. Fairways and semi-rough very well maintained. Restaurant also very good and tasty. Overall, a perfect service, nice members were also present at the tournament.
Only the sanitary facilities / showers could use a renovation.
