Flat, longer & tough rough

I played the course in late September, fairways already 'autumn-type' but very solid greens. The course is flat, but long with couple of holes remarkably divided by water hazards. There might be more interesting places in the area but if you don't want to run up and down the hills give it a try.

It's always a beautiful day when I can play the course! The course was almost completely under water a week ago because of all the flooding in Lower Bavaria. But a big compliment to the greenkeepers who got the course back to normal in a very short time. The greens were still pretty soft, but fast and absolutely true to the line. Fairways were only wet in a few places, but very playable! Always along the Rott and over it, the absolutely flat course is always fun with its challenges. The halfway house is also highly recommended! Very friendly service and you have priority when you get back on at the 11th. After the round, it's worth having a nightcap in the clubhouse. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I'd go back anytime if I'm in the area... Thanks to everyone!

We played the course on 09/10/2020 and can only agree with the two reviews beforehand. The greens are still extremely moist and soft and don't seem to let any water through. We were astonished that there were no inserts on the flagpoles, as you can see them in many other golf clubs, so that the ball does not fall so deep and thus the hole edges are not damaged as much when removed as here in Sagmühle.
