In transformation to new beauty

We played a wonderful round in Rickenbach in mid-October and were able to experience a worthy golf course despite ongoing renovations.
The friendly staff at reception gave us a warm welcome, and the restaurant impressed us with its excellent cuisine and attentive service – here you can truly enjoy your round even after golf.
The infrastructure is exemplary, and the top-of-the-line electric cart provided was a real blessing given the hilly terrain.
The new holes following the redesign of the first hole are well signposted and easy to find. A small curiosity: Hole five has a mat tee, and the GPS watches aren't yet familiar with the new sections of the course – but the helpfulness of other golfers and the staff easily overcame this.
Next spring, when the freshly drilled holes have grown in and nature blooms, this course will shine in new splendor.
We are already looking forward to returning!

The reception is friendly, the restaurant is good and was already open in the morning for coffee and Gipfili. The course is very interesting and excellently maintained. We HC 36/18 had an all-round great day of golf, everything we needed was there.
The course is tricky to play and the balls have to be placed well when teeing off ;-)

I like it sporty and challenging and therefore got my money's worth today on October 2nd, 2023. Of course I pushed the unpowered trolley for exercise. The space provides the challenge. It goes steeply up, just as downhill and just as often at an angle. I was warned that I should have a lot of balls with me. After my youthful recklessness subsided after the first 3 holes, the ball losses no longer increased. In any case, I enjoyed having to think carefully about every shot. The course and especially the greens were in great condition. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed today on Monday. But I know it from a visit in July (without golfing) and can only confirm that it is highly recommended. With super nice service. I'll definitely come back and then I'll make sure beforehand that the restaurant is open.
