Characteristics
There are exceptional trainings and playing possibilities for both beginners and handicap-players. There are a 9-hole compact course and a 18-hole champion course. A sensation is the worldwode only golf gondola cableway "Birdiejet", which leds from the 11th green up to the 12th tee-off. The panorama view on the Radstädter Tauern and the Dachstein massif are magnificent and gigantic at the same time. The course demands for a concentrated game.

Great second nine

Our second stop on annual golf vacation in Schladming area was Radstadt golf course. When arriving there were small rain but, with very friendly staff and their flexibility we adjusted our tee time. Parking lot is next to clubhouse and next to all training facilities. All is here in same spot, not much walking for lazy golfers :D All facilities are top notch all well prepared and organized. So we hit a course, after 1st tee you will realize that you will come back after 18 holes not any stop after 9 close to clubhouse. Its a pity that they do not sell birdie cards, would be very valuable and that if you want have logo ball you have to buy 3 of them. All fairways are surrounded with trees, but they are all nice and wide so no problem to hit it. Semi roughs are quite playable as well as greens, course is not way to long. front nine was honestly a bit boring for me, but on back nine with all those elevated shots and gondola I have to say wou. So overall, its very nice course, for sure worth to play.

No walk in the park

Despite the idyllic parkland, this is no walk in the park – the constant ups and downs are sure to get your heart racing, especially in summer. The front nine starts off moderately but demands precise play. After that, things get serious: alpine elevation gain, adrenaline rush, and the legendary Birdie Jet golf gondola. Water hazards? Hardly any – but when they do, they're truly nasty.
Climbs alternate with flat sections that allow you to catch your breath. The course in the hilly Salzburg region demands stamina and concentration – and that's precisely why it's so fun.

I have rated the 18-hole course several times before; this time too, it is beautiful and well maintained. Fairways are good, bunkers are easy to play in, and the greens are visually beautiful but unfortunately very slow.
The 9-hole course is a beautiful par 3 course, although the greens were not mown that day, but it is an ideal facility for practicing the short game.
It's a shame that most of the bunkers are being abandoned.
