Characteristics
A nice 18-hole course with old hey barns in flat terrain, a little creek, which accompanies the course and as the high point a par 3 island green directly in front of the terrace of the club house. There was a very nice, helpful and humorous lady at the reception.
We found the course itself to be very boring. A constant back and forth. Okay for 9 holes, but after that it gets boring. Perhaps it was played too early in the year. It's not comparable to other golf courses within a 30-km radius.

The reception is extremely friendly and helpful. The course is perfectly flat and is located in a beautiful meadow landscape. There is practically no hole without a water hazard and it is worth playing defensively on many of the holes. There is also no shortage of dog legs and long fairways. The greens are fast and undulating. They are beautifully laid out and there are not too many bunkers. The fairways and the rest of the course are well maintained. The most beautiful holes are the 9th and the 18th. They are both island greens and interesting to play and the course is just fun.

Back in Mittersill after 2020, in very wet conditions due to the night's rain, but the greens were the highlights, along with holes 9 and 18. Very fast, well undulated and true to line, simply great.
From the terrace you can enjoy the “efforts” of the players to hit the greens surrounded by lots of water and place bets on how many putts each player will need.
