Characteristics
The course is situated in a beautiful, "Geest" landscape (sandy heathland at Germany's coasts) near Bad Bederkesas, not far from Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven. Because of the varying relief of the ground - 9 holes on meadows with brooks and pools and 9 holes on hilly Geest ridges - the course is very interesting and varied for players of all handicaps.

Played on May 30th, 2020. The flat to slightly hilly 18-hole course is located in the middle of nowhere and away from any motorway connection near Bremerhaven, in the middle of peace and nature. A formative element of the Parklandplatz is a surprising amount of water that comes into play again and again on some lanes. Despite the nature of the parkland, most tees are open and therefore higher HCs should be able to cope with a little strategic play. The lanes are varied, there are well-placed bunkers, doglegs and, as I said, water again and again, even if you don't always see it directly through thick bushes. The condition of our game was generally okay, even if there were a few bare patches on the fairway or floor that were in need of repair. The greens were impeccable, faithful and quick. Lanes 1 and 2 were closed because storks apparently have made their home there, so we could only play 16 holes. Nature has absolute priority here, but the many beetles that were constantly flying around were a bit annoying! The green fee is reasonable and was reduced due to the lack of holes. With a voucher from the Albrecht golf guide, you can even save accordingly on weekends. A surcharge for golfers without a hologram is not paid to promote golf. Starting times can only be booked as a guest on the game day in advance via the homepage, by phone or by email. Emails are answered very quickly and competently. In our game, only two flights were allowed because of Corona, so the game was busy but brisk. The lady at the counter was very friendly and answered our questions nicely. The club house with attached restaurant made a modern and good impression. There are certainly not the really big highlights here, but in our view there is nothing to be said against a round in Hainmühlen.
