Set amidst the rolling Hills of Franconia, Golfclub Gerhelm provides a scenic yet challenging golf experience. Great care been taken to preserve the natural setting in wich this 18-hole Championship Course is placed. Professional landscaping and creative design have been coupled to produce a layout appealing to both the low and haigh handicap player. Constant attention is given to the care of the course with an experienced greenkeeper on-site 24 hours a day. The friendly atmosphere at Golfclub Gerhelm is also an important part of the experience, wich includes a Driving-Range, chipping and putting area, along with a fine restaurant for pre or port round dining.

During the (extremely friendly) telephone registration, I was asked whether I would like to reserve a cart - not without reason! You can walk the course, but in the end you are challenged, although the course is relatively short.

A birdie book or knowledge of the space is also advisable. Some holes (e.g. 10) are otherwise incomprehensible.
The greens were very bumpy, the fairways bad, not only due to the long winter.

The Gerhelm golf course is a really beautiful, somewhat secluded course that is well integrated into nature, which is pure relaxation. In 2020, the system was in a very well-maintained condition! The employees are all super friendly and with the "Schäferkarrn" they have a very recommendable restaurant on site.
You have to play 2-3 lanes within reach of a street, but that is not a problem, as there is little traffic and if it is, it is mostly other golfers who want to reach the course.
