This 18-hole course is situated in the Werdenfelser Land.
From the course, golfers are provided with several views of the bizarre mountain landscape of the Oberland including the Alpspitze, the Zugspitzmassiv, and the Waxenstein. The course is not a typical mountain course: you hardly find the steep ascents and sloped holes typical for courses situated close to the mountains. Instead, it is rather level and slightly undulating and thus easily walkable.

Beautiful setting, well kept course

Beautiful surroundings are the biggest asset of this golf course. Greens were very quick despite rainfall the evening before. All were undulating and tricky, great challenge on the course.
Golf course was varied throughout in most respects, only downside is that there wasn't much elevation change, fairly flat throughout. Not much danger for the driver off every tee, bunkers could be moved into better positions to provide a more intellectual change. This comment is probably unfair; the course was utterly beautiful and sometimes you just need to enjoy the sport in fantastic natural surroundings.
Highly recommend trying it out if you are in the area.

This golf course is top-notch in every respect! Many holes offer breathtaking views of the Wetterstein Mountains, including the Zugspitze and Alpspitze peaks. Although the course is surrounded by mountains, the fairways are mostly flat and not hilly, with some natural waterways crisscrossing them. At some points, you pass cows and horses; there's an absolutely idyllic, peaceful, and magical atmosphere. Marshall Klaus, the best marshal in Bavaria, deserves special mention. He explains the course, wishes you a good game, is always in a great mood, and is always there if you need anything. He even drives to the clubhouse to get mosquito spray so the mosquitoes don't distract you from your game—top-notch service. The reception is very friendly and helpful. After a round, you can unwind on the beautiful terrace. You can't ask for more—I love it!

The course is idyllically situated 5 km outside Garmisch, between the Loisach River and the Ester Mountains. The first nine are okay. Nothing special. There's a bit of back and forth, which would be logical in a valley. The second nine is beautifully carved into the landscape. You get very close to the 1700-meter mountain cliffs. You hit from above, below, with fairways flowing with clear springs. I saw a char, horses with cowbells... a fantastic and tactical game.
The 18th hole, a par 3, is even more exciting because of the terrace behind the green and a disc. Hit the center with an 8-iron from 145 meters. Hvala bogu. This Croatian restaurant also serves Balkan cuisine. Rather simple but nice and has a great terrace on the first floor. Reception: The manager empathetically oversees all processes, including on the course. There are several discount options, for example, Albercht.
