Cozy club with a great view

We were there in autumn and the course was in really good condition despite the hot summer.
In addition, the great view of the Rhön or Fulda, simply beautiful!

For WombiGo's (camper driving golfers) at the moment only recommended to a limited extent. The stand and the permit for two nights was fine. The statement of the otherwise friendly lady at the reception: "You can only shower after the game" surprised us. The lack of towels and shower gel, otherwise quite common, may be due to the Corona restrictions. The sanitary area is a bit old, but everything was immaculately clean!
But we are sure that the club management knows that there is still room for improvement in this area. Therefore here only 3 stars.
The place was very well maintained. The out and distance view that results during the round is wonderful. The idea of hanging the information signs for the next tee on trees is smart and certainly an advantage when mowing. For the stranger but getting used to.
Anyone who has never played the course has difficulty playing well. Some holes must be played blind from the tee or on the approach. We give 4 stars for the place.
The gastronomy is very good value for money. Good food and good cake! You don't find that everywhere. The gastronomy gets 4 stars from us.

We were visiting from Switzerland in the area and played here on August 5th. Because of the long drought, the place is totally burned and in poor condition. The greens have also suffered a lot. Nevertheless, we had to pay a green fee of 70 euros on a weekday because our golf club does not have a hologram on the ID card (normal: 50 euros). We think that's cheeky. 1. We are members of an official golf club in Switzerland. But the hologram does not exist (has never been an issue). 2. One should actually have expected a reduction in the green fee due to the condition of the space. Paying by credit card is also not possible. EC card or cash only. We won't be back.
