Characteristics
The 18-hole golf course is situated within sight of the castle Augustusburg at the gates of Chemnitz in the borough Gahlenz. The slightly hilly terrain with a water course is varied and efficiently and beautifully uses the natural features of the landscape with four newly arranged pools. The bunkers were a hit: the weeds hung over the edge or were already growing into the bunker. What kind of rule applies when my ball rolls in there? The 18 was simply declared to be the 9, there were women's and men's tees on the same tee, even though the signage said there was a 40 m difference. If you then go over to the 2.9 hole, there are no longer any tees in the old places. How are you supposed to play a countable round? There's also football golf at the same time... Conclusion: you can play a 9-hole round, that's how it works... but the green fee of 70 euros on the weekend is a disgrace!
